Basically it was a group of people with avatars in dinosaur suits that were almost like... personas, as an example here was mine: If anyone remembers me posting from like five to seven years ago that was my avatar. Well, some variation of that, as I had a different one with a different background for different websites. I don't even remember why the sword is there for that one. Anyway, the leader of the group was King, or Xing, and he made the website and was the original dude with the idea of the Badage Boys. I joined the group (or cult) later into it so I don't remember the first time it was posted here on the forums, but I'm 100% certain it was Xing's original account or one of his alts (he had MANY iirc). He was a really fascinating guy, I could probably write a fucking book about what I knew of him, but that's another story. In any case, the group's main focus was to troll the shit out of news subforums on many websites, mostly through very subtle posts usually by heating up existing debates (like defending the death penalty in threads about a man being put to death) or derailing threads (bring up Half-Life in threads about politics or gun control). The "final solution" for trolling was The Badage Boys, at least here on Facepunch. We would, every so many months, post an extremely sensational title that lead to a Badage Boys thread and have a ceremony like someone was passing on as they got their account banned. It was really surreal now that I remember it. Eventually the Badage Boys caught on as a forced Facepunch meme and people started using it for their own ban me's, and I think that was around the time the group started to fall apart. I went on vacation for a summer and came back and I lost all contacts to the group. A year or two later Xing contacted me on Steam out of fucking nowhere and we talked for awhile, but it's been years since I've last heard from him. I don't think he visits FP anymore. There is a whole lot more to the story about the group, but that's an entirely different story altogether. [editline]23rd April 2017[/editline] I remember Xing used to print out pictures of threads that were 'successfully motivated' or something, laminated them, and framed them on his wall. What a bizarre man, I miss him. He had that crazy cult leader charisma. [editline]23rd April 2017[/editline] Oh fuck, I remembered a lot of things wrong, I found the group again, they still exist. I hope they don't come for me now, jesus fucking christ the information I found on them makes it seem even more like a fever dream
Since the cat is out of the bag I may as well post a conversation I had with him. [t]http://i.imgur.com/xYtT1xn.jpg[/t] Nice guy. Seems like this whole thing became a meme on FP out of pure chance. Since nobody posted about who did it I had assumed I was the only one to connect the dots and find the author. I hope he's not mad I post it, but I don't think he minds.

He essentially created this whole universe of Perservia and the madness of the Badage Boys is only the icing to that cake. Sadly, the website no longer exists. Also, I don't think he minds. At least I hope not; I've always wondered if I should ever talk about it when I saw a new Badage Boys thread, I guess this thread being open for as long as it did convinced me to post about it here. Also, my memory is very bad, especially when it comes to that time six/seven years ago when I was taking a bunch of different drugs, so I've always been worried about remembering things wrong.
dude was that magnus
what the fuck is this
